City of Lakewood Activities for May 2025

___

[Guinevere sings… ] Tra la! It’s May! The merry month of May! That lovely month when everyone goes… to the annual Southern Gables neighborhood meeting!  It will be Tuesday May 6, 7:00 p.m. at Green Gables Elementary. Mayor Strom and a representative of the Lakewood Police Community Action Team  will talk with us about current items of interest in Lakewood. Councilmembers Jacob LaBure and Paula Nystrom will also be there visiting with neighbors. We will cover the Association annual report and election of Board officers. All Southern Gables and Valley View residents – Association members and non-members alike – are welcome. We’ll have cookies and lemonade.

That’s the highlight for the Neighborhood Association. But wait – there’s more!  The City of Lakewood has some special events coming up too.
