All the Quiet Places

___

A little over a year ago our neighbor Carolyn Wolfrum started a Southern Gables Book Club and it is open to all our residents. When you get to know someone through intentional discussion on a subject of mutual interest, something special happens. When we build a concept of “community,” that kind of something is one of the things that makes it fit together.

Schedule and Book Selection

The Book Club meets every two months. After last month’s discussion of A Breeze in Bulgaria Carolyn asked the members to submit suggestions for the next selection and she would take a vote. Carolyn says the winner (by one vote) has two things going for it: It (1) sounds interesting and (2) is easy and short. (Three things if you add the missing Oxford comma.)

The book is called All the Quiet Places by Brian Thomas Isaac. Here is a link to a summary of the book: All the Quiet Places

For the Next Meeting, Wednesday September 10 at 6:30

Call, text, or email Carolyn Wolfrum 303-915-5503, cwolfrum93@gmail.com.  Carolyn will tell you the location of the meeting (it rotates among members who want to host) and connect you with the signup list.

When you come for the discussion of All the Quiet Places, be sure and bring a few book titles you are interested in for November.

Happy Reading!
