When we think about what makes our neighborhood great, naturally the most obvious features come to mind first. Yes, of course here in Southern Gables we have beauty in every direction—mountains to the west, the valley to the south, and, throughout the neighborhood, thoughtfully landscaped yards, homes full of character, and friendly neighbors who greet one another with a smile. But there’s more to it…

Southern Gables is a place where community matters and neighbors genuinely care for one another. This strong sense of connection brings a deep sense of satisfaction and helps us lead more pleasant and fulfilling lives. It feels especially meaningful to enjoy the peace and quiet of our neighborhood while still being close to shopping, entertainment, and recreation—far enough from the city to relax, yet close enough to stay connected.

Beyond our wonderful neighbors, the broader business community adds to the charm of living in Southern Gables. Through our Selected Business Supporter Program, we proudly connect with businesses—both nearby and those associated with our neighbors—that are invested in our community.

Revamped Business Supporter Program coming to the neighborhood this spring!

Our Business Supporters engage with us throughout the year, and we are committed to supporting them in return. Doing business locally strengthens our neighborhood in the same way neighbors looking out for one another do—it builds goodwill, fosters connection, and simply feels good. Our Business Supporters are a valuable part of what makes Southern Gables unique, participating in our Neighborhood Night Out, connecting with our social media, and offering special deals just for us. 

This year, we are revamping our Business Supporter Program. In the past, you may have received a green Southern Gables–branded tote bag filled with promotional materials from our Business Supporters each year. The bag contained deals and discounts in the form of brochures and paper coupons. This April, we’re introducing a more streamlined and accessible option. You will receive a Southern Gables–branded magnet featuring a QR code. By scanning the code, you’ll be directed to our 2026–2027 Business Supporter Directory, where you can also access exclusive deals and coupons available only to Southern Gables residents. We hope you’ll keep this magnet on your refrigerator or tucked into a drawer as a reminder to shop local and support the neighborhood businesses that support our community.

To start, you can participate by following the Southern Gables Neighborhood Facebook page. This is one of our primary ways to share updates and highlights from our Business Supporters throughout the year. By following along, you stay informed, help amplify these businesses within our community, and play a meaningful role in supporting the neighbors who support Southern Gables.

We will deliver our Business Supporter magnet along with a yellow printed insert directly to your door in April—so keep an eye out!
